Summary[]

Jordan wakes up in an alley with no recollection of how she got there. She soon finds out that Tom Malden was found dead in her apartment and her father is the prime suspect. While hiding from the police, she works to clear both her and Max’s names by finding her half brother James.

Plot[]

Jordan wakes up in an alley next to her apartment and there are a lot of cops in the area. Macy sees her and asks her where she was been, she doesn't know. He tells her about the murder and that her father, Max, is the prime suspect and that he is missing. She faints.

Next thing you know, Renee brings an ME from outside the office and lets everyone know that Jordan is a witness and that no one is allowed to talk to her about the case, if they do they get fired. Jordan tries to find James in order to prove her and Max are innocent but he's missing. Unbeknownst to her, he's following her. Det. Annie Capra enters the scene for the first time. She "interrogates" Woody. We find out something about the call Max got. Someone told him that Jordan killed Malden and he ran and figured a way to protect her, he shot Malden twice. Woody traces the call and he and Jordan go to James's apartment, Annie is there. They call a police car to take Jordan home but it's being driven by James, who stole it and disguised himself as a cop. He takes her to the old apartment building where he used to live, which under construction. There he talks about his past and then Woody and Annie appear. James apologizes for not being a good brother to Jordan and jumps from the window. His body is not found, so it's possible he may still be alive. And now we find out why Jordan and Max are not speaking. He said no more questions and she stops asking anything.
